JMM-Hamlet

How can Hamlet be made easier to learn and understand for high school students? We thought that this could be used by teachers as well. they’re people too, right?  Our class has made the ultimate study guide for an understandable, fun version of Hamlet. This study guide was made by students who analyzed and researched Hamlet in order to understand the deeper meanings of the great Shakespearean play. 

The majority of students who read Hamlet don’t really like or understand Shakespearean language. We decided to target our work on that, and the mental state of the characters. To make Hamlet easier for people to understand and get a feel for, we have included some recipes, a children’s story, and a short analysis of the main characters. We also included an analysis of all of the acts and scenes, pictures and video clips of all acts, and explanations. 

Anyone who looks through this study guide will come out with an understanding and appreciation for Shakespeare’s the great play Hamlet.
