Love will give you the strength to carry extra burdens.
Joey had a work ethic that would put 10 men to shame. He carried a couple of anvel sized baggage that would have broken lesser men. He kept his head down to avoid drawing attention to himself for many reasons, but he was not a wallflower. He is an absolutely likeable character. Officer Sam took a chance and found his treasure. The path was not smooth, but these men were stron, dedicated and committed. Joey had family issues many people are glad they never had to face. Did Sam get a chance to meet the family? Did Joey get the opportunity to share his troubles? Did the team from The Gates step up? This story gave a few characters the opportunity to strut their stuff. I like this story and these character representations the best. Well done! I received an ARC from Booksprout and am volutntarily leaving a review.
