I read this book as a teenager after learning that it was the basis for the Metallica song "One". I really don't have the words to say how much this book touched me. I am surprised to see that I am the first and only person to writing a review for this book. This is a MUST READ for anyone. Plus, even though it has been done already a long time ago, I really think this would make a great movie. Sorry if people hate that idea. But, I would love to see this book on film again, with renewed interest.
