Jonah Made Simple

"The word of the Lord came to Jonah son of Amittai: 'Go to the great city of Nineveh and preach against it, because its wickedness has come up before me.' But Jonah ran away from the Lord and headed for Tarshish." (Jonah 1:1-3)

Jonah heard God clearly, and ran the other way. A storm. A great fish. Three days in the deep. A prayer from the belly. Then a second chance, eight words of preaching, and the greatest revival in the Old Testament, in the most wicked city of the ancient world. And the prophet was furious about it.

Jonah Made Simple is a plain-language, Bible-first guide to the book of Jonah. Across fourteen short chapters, you'll learn why running from God is always a descent, how the belly of the fish became God's appointed rescue, what Nineveh's repentance teaches about real turning, and why God's final unanswered question, "Should I not have concern for Nineveh?", is addressed to you. Every chapter opens with Scripture and ends with one clear action step, because difficult information should be made simple for everyday people.

Fled. Swallowed. Sent. The God of Jonah is the God of today: the Father who pursues the runner, the Son who gave Jonah's three days as the sign of His own resurrection, and the Spirit who softens the hardest heart.
