Based on true events.

Anne is a depressed middle aged-woman who has recently divorced.  Anne is lonely and turns to the Internet to find her soul mate.  Jon responds to Anne’s online ad and Anne is instantly entranced.  Jon is charismatic, attractive, and caring; at least that is what he appears to be.  After a whirlwind affair, Anne soon realizes that Jon is not what he seems.  Jon has a quick temper, is a compulsive liar, and has many secrets.  What Anne finds out rocks her entire world, and sends her into a web of lies so deep that it is hard to tell fact from fiction.
