Josh Anvil and the Pivotal Weapon

Two freshmen. One alien war zone. A weapon that can tear the galaxy apart.

Josh Anvil and his best friend Troy thought surviving freshman year of high school in Louisiana was a challenge. But when they are suddenly pulled through a portal into a strange, hostile new world, algebra becomes the least of their worries.
Marooned on planet Leiasam—a world conquered by a ruthless alien race thousands of years ago—the boys are instantly caught in the crossfire of an apocalyptic, planet-hopping conflict. While running for their lives and trying to help their companion Anton rescue his family, Josh and Troy uncover a secret that changes everything: a gifted young girl with the devastating power to tear entire planets apart.

The race is on. If the alien enemy reaches her first, Earth—and the universe—will pay the ultimate price. Can Josh master his own extraordinary, shifting powers in time to save her, or will they be trapped in the alien stars forever?
Blending fast-paced science fiction, young adult urban fantasy, high-stakes action, and sharp comedy, this second installment in the Josh Anvil series is an unforgettable planet-hopping adventure.
