One of the best novels that replace Aftermath
Trust me the Aftermath trilogy makes NO sense (based on research done on the entire trilogy) This book literally replaces the entire Trilogy as a whole. I would recommend that new readers pick up this book instead of Aftermath.
Also the battle of Jakku does not happen until the very end of the novel (spoiler), but it was great getting a recap on past events.
Good story that add lots of color to the Star Wars universe.
Absolute must read for any Star Wars fan!
I was blown away by this novel if for no other reason because it was a parallel story to the original trilogy (Ep 4-6). This story perfectly followed those events but from an entirely different perspective.
It is a quick read and will fully take you back to those original feelings that make Star Wars so endearing.
