Much better than I thought it would be.
I wasn't sure what to expect from this book, so even though my plan had been to read it before The Last Jedi was released, I put it off until now. Boy, was I wrong! This was such a fun read. The stories all give interesting takes on Luke Skywalker. The characters are interesting. Some of this book is laugh - out - loud funny. And the best part is, this book made me hungry for more Star Wars -- something which ought to be a given when reading a Star Wars book, but decidedly isn't. At least, not for me. If you're a Star Wars fan, regardless of how you feel about TLJ, I highly recommend this book!
To get an idea of what exactly Luke meant in The Last Jedi when he referred to himself as nothing more than a "legend", read this book. Luke will even show you how to fish.
