Journey to Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker: Force Collector

I wasn’t sure what to expect from this book. It wound up being much better than I thought it would be. I wouldn’t say it’s pivotal to the Star Wars universe, but it is clearly written by someone who has great love for said universe. We hop all over the galaxy, to places familiar and new, and get not only an interesting look at how far Star Wars has come over the years, but also a fine coming-of-age story. It’s a great setup, in its own unique way, for the final chapter in this great saga, The Rise of Skywalker which, as I write this, will hit theaters in less than a week. Enjoy the book.

Growing up alongside the Star Wars galaxy, this compelling coming of age adventure introduces us to fascinating and witty characters from a whole new world enriching the Star Wars timeline! I found myself hanging on to every word as if I was with them on their inquisitive journey witnessing familiar events within the Star Wars canon. Kevin Shinick’s Force Collector is an exciting story for all ages taking us on a joyride that leaves us wanting to know more about the planet of Merokia; its people, droids, and how it’s history plays out within our galaxy, and galaxies far far away!
I’m looking forward to more travel encounters with Karr, Maize, and RZ-7!
