In the confusion, she finds a seemingly abandoned pack of cigarettes with a flash drive inside that belonged to the now-dead man.
Ellie gets the drive's contents decrypted, but before long discovers she's under surveillance. Suspecting Delcroft and the ambitious Hollander are behind it, she's unconvinced when Hollander tells her the dead man was a Chinese spy. Ellie and her boyfriend, Luke, try to find answers, but they don't realize how far they have ventured into the dangerous echelons of hidden power where more lives are on the line―including their own.

Hard to put this one down until I was finished! Another winner for sure. Can't wait until the next one!

Ellie Foreman is back in Libby Fisher Hellman's new suspense thriller, Jump Cut. Ellie is hired to do a simple corporate video project and is suddenly embroiled in murders, foreign double agents, encrypted flash drives, bombs, threatening drone attacks, corporate terrorism, and kidnapping. Hellman expertly crafts a provocative tale with Ellie and her friends and family thrust in a dangerously complex web in which no real heroes or easy solutions emerge. The climax is both nail-biting and exciting. I strongly recommend this book to those who have read previous Ellie Foreman books as well as those who are new to this brilliantly inventive writer.

Even know what she is cooking -- or picking up -- for dinner! Libby creates a story that builds suspense while it moves along swiftly, inevitably and memorably.
