Junior and the F-Word

Junior is a high school freshman struggling to find his way in a world that seems to hate him for who he is. Misunderstood by both family and peers alike, Junior struggled to make friends and fit in throughout middle school and endured bullying on a daily basis. His social life suddenly changes when he gets to high school and finds acceptance and popularity amongst the school’s elite. 


Junior uses his talent as a writer and wisdom beyond his years to navigate his own way through freshman year, only to find out that being popular was much harder than it was being unpopular. Junior questions whether he really values his new friendships when he has to keep dealing with the consequences of uncomfortable secrets and decisions like whether or not to tell his new best friend that the boy she likes is really in love with him or revealing the identity of a victim of molestation. 


Set in the late 1990’s, at the turn of the millennium, this coming of age story is a timeless tale filled with characters and experiences that anyone who has ever been or will be a teenager can relate to. Readers of all ages have been Junior, known a Junior, or are raising a Junior.
