Publisher Description
A collection of poems and prose by Horus8, lead singer and creator of the music and songs by Horus8 & The Werewolves. Handrinos, is an American poet born in Southern California in the 70's. A time at which he calls the culmination of everything that was both incredibly beautiful while erroneously hideous about North America. "There were no seat belt laws, or littering laws - The happy meal had not yet been created and Star Wars had just changed time and space travel imaginatively (as far as we had pushed the envelope internally) forever". You can feel the innocence being torn away from the artist as a young man page by page. Until by the end of the narrative the only thing left to hope might still be in the mirror's reflection is the courage to challenge one's own memories ever again. To spear head a path for truth, justice, and thee American way; which of course would be a fool's errand since 911.

"If I go crazy then will you still call me superman?"
It's always hard to read and or edit your own work and although I am my worst possible critic, at the end of the day, this is the beginning of something I will always be very proud of. Initially the book was picked up and published by Sunrising Poetry Press, but like most poetic endeavors they only reached the floor's ceiling. Thankfully, I had a great contract which allowed me to reobtain the rights, and of course with the advent of modern day technology and a bit of focus and consistency, I was able to re-release this collection without any pitfalls or clashes of character or personalities involved. It was ultimately only, the paper and some stories to recapitulate.
