Disappointed
Although it was wonderful to revisit the beloved characters from the Ten Beach Road series, the newest installment, Just Beachy, is an average read at best—and a disappointment for longtime fans like myself who have always looked forward to each new book in the series.
Unfortunately, the plot felt underdeveloped and lacked the heart and depth that made the earlier books so compelling. If the author had invested as much thought into the storyline and character arcs as she did into the numerous sexual encounters, this could have been a standout addition rather than a forgettable one.
I’ve always considered Wendy Wax a go-to for engaging, romantic & emotionally rich stories, but after this book, I’m not so sure anymore.
