To bring in some money, Blair applies for a job at the local coffee shop, only to find out it’s managed by Declan, her ex–best friend...and ex-boyfriend. As sparks fly and their paths seem destined to align, the pair try to find their way back to each other. We immediately wanted to book a vacation to the cute and homey village of Seabrook, with its cobbled streets and picture-perfect houses. Meh
I was looking forward to this but find myself underwhelmed and disappointed.
While I enjoy the relationship development I struggle with the writing. I feel like this book was rushed to publication and could have gone through another round of editing. I will gladly read whatever Haley writes next.
