Aspiring screenwriter Britt Kingsley knows that she has written a hit screenplay when she finishes “Dream Girl, ” but struggles to find her break in Hollywood as an unknown. Desperate to get her script read, she schemes to work as a secretary at a talent agency to make professional contacts. The opportunity comes when she picks up a phone call from acclaimed film director Derek Redmond. Pretending to be her boss, Britt successfully promotes her own script.
