It just really seems like this could have been better which was a weird distraction while reading it. There were a lot of guest artists not listed on the iBooks blurb and I really enjoyed some of the art. I appreciated the broad draw of material the story drew from but it was (for a “sage”) more fairly described otherwise as being sort of short. I got it on sale so it was a fair value so 3 stars. This is my absolute least favorite of Brad’s work so far but he’s a good writer who shows up to work when he writes.
