With the help of a support network that includes a best friend who has her own problems, an artistic new boyfriend, and a teacher, she begins to do just that. The topic of bullying is perennially timely, but Colasanti's (Waiting for You) characters are rather two-dimensional, particularly Noelle's too cruel mother and overly perfect friends. Likewise, Noelle's transition from outcast to advocate, while inspiring, is perhaps too sudden. Even so, this is a fast read that will give readers plenty to think about and a list of resources to tap into if they need them. Ages 14 up.

Good meaning behind the story
The book is an easy read, it tackles important issues regarding mental health, neglect, giving consent (subtle mention of rape for parents who prof read their kids books) and budding relationships.
Personally, I enjoyed the book overall, however I found the story to lack substance and a bit boring for older readers. I read this as a kid and liked it, but definitely when you’re older and have read more it’s a bit on the younger side. Nonetheless, it’s good. Give it a try!

This is a wonderful book. I don't know but was it just me waiting impatiently everyday for this book to finally come out. With an author like Susane Colasanti it's pure torture to wait. I can really relate because I usually get bullied a lot. It's just a routine. But recently I stood up for myself and now people don't talk down to me much anymore. I wish I had the strength to do so earlier. this is the best one since waiting for you. I like it when she writes from a single perspective. Anyways, in this book you will be reminded to keep holding on and that everyone has a purpose so hard times won't last forever. Ijust read the first chapter. I don't know how else to say this but READ THE BOOK!!!!!
