The first Atticus Kodiak novel.

In his mid-20s, fresh from the Army's Executive Protection Program, Atticus is trying to make a living as a bodyguard alongside his friends Rubin Febres and Dale Matsui. When he is hired to protect Dr. Felice Romero from radical anti-abortion protestors threatening her and her daughter in mid-1990s Manhattan, the threat to his principal's quickly escalates, with tragic consequences for all  those involved.
