Kill Game: The Cold Poker Mysteries
As an avid reader of Robert Ludlum, Ken Follett, and recently David Baldaccci , I was really excited to read Dean WesleySmith’s creation. I read the novel in one night. It was wonderfully written with a twisty plot, unexpected directions and the surprising but fun addition of romance, not usually found in thrillers.
It was just a great, different and for me,not too disgusting crime novel. So many think that the more debased the behavior the better the book, but NO this is high level decent entertainment and we thank you for it. I’ve gotta new author to read!
Sophomoric
I feel like a 17 year old wrote this book: "he sure liked her smile, she sure liked his smile, he hoped she liked him, she hoped he liked her, he sure was handsome, she sure was pretty or some such at least every other page. The plot however wasn't so bad though I won't read this author again.
Women’s romance novel
Entirely too many unnecessary paragraphs about Detective Lott’s eyes!
