Thirteen people are dead from the savage poisoning of a church well at the zealous hands of a vengeful elderly woman. With warrants in hand for murder and flight to avoid prosecution, Ruben, Homer Poteet, and Marion Daniels take to the trail of Blanche Boggs. Killdeer
As a male at the ripe age of 71, this book is written very creatively with real life unpredictable style events. The extensive details in what life was like back in the 1800’s is breathtaking. Combined with the western slang, the humor, jabs at one other. There way of life,
as marshals from sleeping, eating, elaborating the everyday dangers of the western world, truly portrays the pitfalls of living in that era.
The story line goes nonstop with many twists and turns, that’s realistic and not far fetched.
I’d recommend this to anyone that appreciates history and the lifestyle we all take for granted in today’s world.

Awesome series!!! You'll love it!
A slow one
Great series, love the vernacular. This one was long on talking and short on action, but pleasurable. Those preceding were 4s and 5s. Hoping the next one returns to form.
