Deanna Raybourn’s wildly funny mystery centers around longtime besties Billie, Mary Alice, Natalie, and Helen as they prepare for their retirement cruise. The friends work for the Museum, which is actually an elite group of assassins, and it looks like someone wants to make their retirement very permanent. Raybourn mixes stiletto-sharp satire and jokes about menopause with lightning-fast, no-nonsense action as her Golden Girls–like posse employs their old-school skills to take out the threat. Killers of a Certain Age is an exciting and endearing story of believable friendship and cunning operatives.

Without spoiling it, the ending felt abrupt but i enjoyed it. I wish the characters had more depth but was a fun read!
