وصف الناشر
Killian is called up to retrieve a woman who’s been kidnapped, then escaped, only to be captured again. With a sketchy SOS coming in, Killian’s tracking her from Vancouver to the far reaches of the Yukon Territory in Canada, right next door to Alaska, where the intel finally stops.
The apple of her father’s eye, Stacey was a late gift in his life. But, when it counted, he wasn’t there for her, leaving her alone and unprotected. On the run from her abusive husband, she’s kidnapped a second time by a seasoned negotiator, who can see she’s in trouble. Only he plans to auction her off to the highest bidder.
With several threads running together on this mission, Killian must find the predator in the middle and take him out, or Stacey will never be safe again.

She’s married to a monster!
4.5 Stars
This is book 15 in The Mavericks series and it features Killian and Stacey. If ever there was a person with bad luck, it has to be Stacey. Running from an abusive husband, she gets into so much trouble, which is where Killian comes in to play. She’s very cautious with any man after being married to a monster. There are sparks between her and Killian but the fun banter is between her and Hatch.
So much more is happening in this story. Fabulous mystery and suspense along with a slow burning romance. The story line is fantastic! The characters are awesome! I love that this author has all these alpha men but also these women that give them a run for their money.
LOL
This book had me laughing so much at the banter between Hatch and Stacey that I almost forgot the story was about Killian. There is enough action to keep one occupied with Stacey having been kidnapped twice and her father once that you’re not sure what will happen next . Dale has a great way with writing stories that get you hooked in . I highly recommend this book and author
