Killing Time
This book was interesting and surprising, but it had some typos, a date was wrong, which changed the meaning, and gender if the cook was once male; but the real problem for me was plastic. Plastic evidence bags wouldn’t be in use in 1923, and syringes would be glass reusable not disposable. Evidence probably would go in paper envelopes. Just kind of irritating.
Insipid
The writing is just drawn out. I had very high hopes for the book. The storyline sounded very intriguing. However, the character was a bit jumbled and lame. I’m not sure what would describe her lack but sorry, just no.

Really enjoyed this book. Good characters , well written.
