King & Queen's "Royalty‪"‬

My mother Queen was never consistently around and my dad was dead. I never met him. I was raised by my aunt and uncle. I did well and ultimately ended up in college to become a lawyer. That’s when I met Jennifer. 

     Jennifer was Italian and I’m black. We knew it would be hard for it to work. Her family still had mafia ties. She was convinced that it wouldn’t be a problem. She said we weren’t in that lifestyle. We had nothing to do with their family business. But then Jennifer died and I was left alone. I was forced into a life that I wasn’t prepared for. 

     Either way I would have no choice but to get prepared. Not only was the love of my life gone, but the people around me were in danger.    

     With all the pain that I’ve gone through, I would soon find out that it wasn’t anything compared to what lied ahead.

     Soon I will meet my family and find out what Royalty actually means.
