The stunning conclusion with more twists and turns. Is the prophecy the beginning or the end?

The Ultimate Intergalactic Space Opera
King is the ‘final’ book in the Space Gypsy Chronicles, and lives up to the roller coaster ride of the series. Our Rhomanii are finally on their way home after generations of roaming. However this does not mean the end of the challenges, as our heroes have to activate the markers, and fight to survive along the way.
Good news: their home planet does exist and is ready for them
Bad news: it’s not that simple
The darkness that has lingered around the edges and chased them from the Citadel still looms, and threatens to take everything away. Rafe and Mikhail are now both dealing with phantom voices telling them to do things that go against their consciences, visions that show violence and murder, and struggling to find a way forward as brothers. Emma is trying hard to understand Rafe as he becomes obsessed with the prophecy and his role in it. Will she be able to keep him sane? And the more important question: will she finally pour liquid on the circuit boards of Annabelle? Or will the AI be able to finally ditch the pesky human on some doomed planet?
The door is open for the saga to continue, and I see the ending as kind of a “build your own adventure” for what happens next. We see redemption, sacrifice, love, and hope in the face of immense danger. The characters we thought we knew may turn out to be something/someone else entirely, and not all dangers come from the outside!
The twists and turns make it hard to tell who to root for, and give an intense thrill ride from start to finish. Who will end up as King? There can only be one…

Eve Langlais King(Space Gypsy Chronicles Book 4)
I am a big fan of Eve Langlais and really enjoyed this whole series until the ending which was very surprising and disappointing. The series is amazing and I eagerly awaited the return of Rafe, Michail his twin, and the Romanni to their home planet. After the first three books I really got to know and enjoy these characters and the world the author had created around them. There was a great balance of excitement, suspense, danger, really funny humor, romance, adventure and some great hot love scenes.
The book is full of thrilling excitement as Rafe, Mikhail and Emma unlock the final keys that complete the prophesy and guide the Space Gypsy population to return home after so many eons of wandering the universe. The descriptions of their home world are wonderful and inventive and had me anxiously awaiting for all the lose pieces in the story to come together and for the forces of evil to be obliterated. There were many surprising turn of events and the HEA was there in fact I was a bit sad. (Don't want to reveal any spoilers).
With the way the series ended I am truly hoping there is some continuation and spin off that pulls the pieces together and finds a HEA to our three main
Kept me guessing to the end.
This is the final book in the series and I have to wonder if we will see these characters again. Normally I can figure out where the story is going but not this time. Nothing is as it seems or what you think. I truly enjoyed the story and it's twisted ending. Definitely a series that I will read again to look for missed clues to see if I could have predicted the outcome.
It was full of action as they ran from planet to planet reluctantly looking for clues. Everyone had something to gain by finding the home planet but not everyone had good intentions. Mikhail and Rafe struggle at every turn to not kill each other even though the voices are telling them to. These reluctant heroes do the best with the choices they have and goodness knows I would like to know what comes next or if it's a never ending cycle of madness.
This was an awesome read. Love when a book makes me question what could happen with the characters.
