Powerful book on prayer
I had the privilege of receiving an advanced copy of this book. This book is a standout because it is relevant and relatable on the topic of prayer. The book takes us through what kingdom prayer really looks like. Pastor Evans used a very conversational style in this book. I enjoyed the start of the book where Pastor Evans uses a family vacation to Niagara Falls to give a analogy of how prayer works in the life of a believer.This quote stood out in the chapter Power and Promises." If we want the full power and promises of God's presence,you will have to get close and go in deep in your relationship with Him". The book encourages us to open our eyes and realize the power that we have when we will fully engage in prayer. This quote stands out in reference to that. "We sing songs about power. Our songs remind us of all the deposits that God has made in us , yet so many of us are living as though we are powerless ". This book did not disappoint and it's a very powerful book on prayer. I encourage you to pick up or download this book and become better equipped at being a person of Kingdom Prayer.
