The title, this book was a very dramatic conclusion to the trilogy.
It was emotional, with all the appropriate character reactions. Nothing was glossed over to “skip to the sex” or anything.
And the ending- my god the ending- it was perfect. Exactly what I wanted.
Plot twist was great, too. I had predicted it since book one but was unsure whether it’d happen or not and it did! So cudos for that.
Also more character development, which we love.
Anyway, 10/10, would reread, highly recommend, best in the series in my opinion (Prince’s Gambit was very good, too, I kind of thought it couldn’t top it but it did)!
Epic, sweeping, complex awesome ... this is one of the best books I have ever read. It would make an incredible movie (maybe 3 movies) as long as it follows the trilogy and some script writer does not take liberties.
I have been rereading the entire trilogy several times. It is that good.
