Lost: one Hollywood bad boy
Scott Kaine was once the quintessential Hollywood bad boy. His smoldering, perpetually unhappy gaze made women all over the world swoon. He partied hard, then turned his life around, becoming an award winning actor and producer.
Until the headlines hit and he retreated to his childhood haven, Calusa Key.
Found: one man with a purpose
Lucy Davis was too good for me. Her brilliance and patience made her one of the most successful CEOs in Hollywood. And for some reason she loved me. So when my past came crashing down around us I knew I couldn’t stay. The only way I could be with Lucy is if I became the man she deserved.
Between the palm trees and sandy beaches I’ve found peace for the first time in my life. I’m ready to start down the path forward—with Lucy by my side—I just hope the island is as magical to her as it is to me. Because I can’t live without her love.
Customer Reviews
Great story
This second chance at love story was a very good story. The characters were memorable with heartfelt emotion from both that was palpable. There was some additional drama with a suspenseful vibe created by a stalker which added excitement and intrigue. I enjoyed reading this book.

Really Good Second Chance Romance
This is book this is book three in the Calusa Keys series. You could technically read this book without reading the first two books but I think it will be more enjoyable is you read the books in order. Books 1 and 2 are Scott's brothers’ stories so they tie in together plus there's a stalker after the brothers. This book picks up where book two ended. This book was a great read. It's a second chance romance with a little bit of suspense added in. This has been a fun series to read so far.
Scott has been hiding out in Calusa Keys with his brothers. He walked out on his girlfriend thinking she's better off without him. His past keeps coming back to haunt him. Now he's watching his brothers pair off and find love while his love life is in shambles. Now he has to face Lucy to keep her safe from the stalker that’s after the family. Can Scott figure out his life and get Lucy to forgive him so he doesn't lose the one person he loves the most?

He left her
He left her.
Scott knew he had a good thing and yet, he still left her for a long time.
I thought Lucy was way to forgiving with out Scott making amends.
