What do you do when you’re the reigning kissing booth champion but the only person you want to kiss is your best friend’s brother?
Let me make this clear right here, right now: I, Halley Dawson, do not care that Preston Wright is kissing other women.
Not a lick. Not at all. Nuh-uh-freakin’-uh.
I do care that he’s doing it six feet away from me behind a gaudy velvet curtain—making him my competition in this year’s kissing contest.
Why do I care, you ask? Because I’ve had an unfortunate crush on the insufferable idiot since I was sixteen years old, but I also know it’s never going to happen.
He’s the Creek Falls bachelor to die for, and I’m the Creek Falls racoon lady who puts peanut butter sandwiches out for them every night.
I’m not going to let him break my four-year-long reign—no matter how many times he breaks the rules and slides the curtain across to do the one thing he’s not allowed to:

New series!! Yes please!
What a fun introduction to a new series by Emma Hart!!
Kiss Me Not is a funny, sweet romance. Set in a town fair with a kissing booth.
Halley is the reigning queen of the Creek Falls Kissing Booth. She takes her crown seriously, just like she takes her love of trash pandas. LOL! I enjoyed reading about her relationship with her "neighbors".
Preston is the town catch, the most eligible bachelor and Halley's newest competition for the kissing booth championship.
This story was so enjoyable to read! Halley's friendship with Regan and Ava was fantastic and every girl needs a squad like that!
The dialogue between the characters was fast and witty and made me laugh out loud!
The slow burn between Preston and Halley was fantastic and I was cheering them on until the very end!
I cannot wait to see Regan's story next and I loved how Ms. Hart set up her story next!!
If you are looking for a sweet, slow burn of a story, get your hands on this!!
Kiss Me Not is the all new rom-com by Emma Hart. It is the first book in the Kiss Me series and it was full of sweetness, charm, and laugh out loud humor. Emma Hart never fails to disappoint with her quick wit and fantastic writing.
Halley has been the reigning champ at the kissing booth since forever. She loves doing it every year for charity and everyone knows she has no competition. Well, that is until this year, her best friends hot as hell brother Preston decides to go up against her.
I seriously loved these two! The banter between them had me laughing out loud and grinning ear to ear. The secondary characters were just as amazing and I hope we get their stories. Highly recommend reading this book!
Review: Kiss Me 1: Kiss Me Not
Kiss Me Not by Emma Hart is the first book in her Kiss Me series. A funny, sarcastic, romantic comedy that centers around three best friends and their unlikely matches. This story in particular focuses on the reigning kissing booth champion and her best friends brother who also happens to be this years kissing booth competition. Creek Falls is a perfect small town setting and Halley and Preston are a wonderful introduction to another small town romance from one of my favorite authors. Add in some quirky grandparents, a family of tame-ish racoons and this story was complete.
