Deadly consequences!
This book is a roller coaster ride of mystery, suspense and deadly consequences that surround an ex-con and a woman who takes him in when he's released from prison and has nothing but the clothes on his back and no cash for a roof over his head. Gabe is back in Lost Coast Harbor for revenge after a six year prison sentence for a crime he didn't commit and nothing is going to stand in his way until a beautiful stranger takes him in. Maggie conveniently works for the very people who set him up so his plan is to use her for information. but the sexual chemistry between them just might make him change his plans...if he lives that long. Wonderfully complex characters, steamy sex, and a smart and explosive storyline will have you on the edge of your seat.

What a great book! Couldn't put it down!
A good start to a new series!
This book has it all! Maddie and Gabe both have troubled pasts that they are trying to overcome when they meet. The romance and suspense keep building based on mutual attraction, false imprisonment, a shady spouse, drugs and gun running, and family discord. The mystery keeps you guessing and trying to solve it along with Maggie and Gabe. I couldn't put this down until I finished it!
