I am from the area that she wrote about. I didn’t think anyone outside of Manatee County ever heard of it but she’s quite accurate. I spent a lot of party days/nights on Anna Maria Island. Even the parking lot that KMart used to be was accurate. The book is oozing with the beautiful love between the characters. It’s very sweet and nicely written. I’ll read more. Thank you for sharing your story and for writing about the tiny town of Manatee County.
