Cat and Mouse game!
Anna Belmont has a hidden past that forced her to flee her family with a criminal past that leaves her susceptible to blackmail, manipulation and fears of incarceration. Living in Lost Coast Harbor under an assumed name she runs a successful business and has many friends but at the end of the day she feels hollow inside her beautifully decorated and lonely home. Declan Donnelly masquerades as a mild mannered book store owner who settles for being Annabel's friend but he too has secrets from his youth that haunt him to this day. As the two characters play a dangerous game of cat and mouse, their sizzling attraction to each other leads to complications that link them to nefarious characters and a larger conspiracy that threatens everyone in Lost Coast Harbor. This book has a great cast of characters, a fast paced storyline and steamy sex scenes. I read a complimentary copy of this book and all opinions expressed in my voluntary review are completely my own.
It takes a devil to know a devil...
Kissed by a Devil picks up the Lost Coast Harbor series with Erin's friend Annabel. She's only lived in Lost Coast Harbor for three years, but she unfortunately fell in with the Hastings when she got there. Annabel runs the local bakery/coffee shop, and with her bright sunny disposition and her sweet nature has charmed the community including the bookstore owner across the street. Declan Donnelly is the good guy in a family of black sheep (the Donnelly Devils), he keeps himself under control at all times. He doesn't even date, but he'd like to be more than friends with Annabel.
But their romance is only part of this books storyline, the continued unfolding of Hasting's crimes, Annabel's involvement, and the exploration into the Donnelly Devils keep you glued this book till the end.
