Delightful story!
This book is a light, fun read. It is one of my favorites of Joan Smith. The humor and banter hold less irony than some of her other books, but is delightful, nonetheless. It is interesting to see the main character evolve, or rather devolve, into his former self, but with more wisdom, and eventually a measure of humility. He is not a hero with all the answers, and is, at times, even hapless. It is an enjoyable, sweet story.
