Publisher Description

Montana rancher Knox Marshall's danger years are behind him. A former bull-rider, he now runs the Marshall family ranch, raising champion bucking bulls for the National Professional Bullrider's Expo (NBR-X). Wealth and success are his, but life is stable, expected, and…ordinary. He can't help but wonder if his best years are behind him.

Kelsey Jones just wants a safe life, a family, a home. Onstage, the beautiful rising star of the Yankee Belles becomes the person she longs to be - vivacious and confident - burying the brokenness she carries from a violent assault. Becoming NBR-X's next country act is key to outrunning her past and achieving the success and security she craves.

Knox and Kelsey's paths collide when an explosion at an NBR-X event traps them in the rubble and leaves them reeling. Kelsey's crippling nightmares return, but for Knox, an obsession to find the bomber is ignited.

When Kelsey's past threatens Knox's family, he'll have to choose between saving the Marshall legacy or becoming the protector he's always longed to be.

The explosive beginning to the Montana Marshall series.

DYNAMIC!

KNOX is a DYNAMIC start for Susan May Warren’s new Montana Marshalls Series! I have always been drawn to “Real Men” because of the influence of my Daddy, my Great-Uncle Johnny & their best friend Clay. They were men of the Greatest Generation - all WWII Vets, Navy, Army & Marine respectively. As I read Warren’s description of Knox, I couldn’t help but think of these three men.

I always enjoy Warren’s series because she bases them around family, always has major edge of your seat suspense and romance. She also infuses Christian beliefs as a way to encourage readers. Her characters are believable and relatable. Her beautiful descriptions of setting make you want to visit all the places she describes. Her plot is dramatic and will keep you distracted from everything else you’re supposed to be doing!

One of my favorite quotes is this:

“We’re all wounded, Kelsey. But it’s our wounds that allow us to have compassion for each other. It’s how God shows us He loves us too—through the way we reach out and hold on to each other.”

Outstanding!!!

The heat is turned up high on this one. Couldn’t put it down. Treat yourself to some long nights staying awake to see what happens next. You won’t be disappointed!!!
