Kybria

The settlement of Kybria is a peaceful place but it is ruled by a corrupt and increasingly despotic regime. Verdrun, by heritage a priest, but robbed of his birthright by the regime's violent repression, is the skilled and respected Horse Captain. He holds fast to the belief that a monster horse, viewed in the distance, is a message that his priestly calling may be needed. But the High Elder has other plans.
