The chance discovery of a World War II bunker by three engineers drilling a water diversion tunnel near a World War II airfield, results in the death of two of the engineers and the survivor running for his life. The paths of three people come together in the City of Metz in the Rich Moselle Valley in eastern France, changing their lives forever.
