Lady Calloway

In an alternate reality, similar to our world, only ruled by the church, Kerrick is frustrated in his marriage to Liora, a beautiful young woman from the North. Lord Kerrick Calloway has tried everything he can think of to bring passion into his bedroom. Nothing makes any difference, and day to day relations suffer as well.

He can't understand why his wife shows no response to him, until he discovers he has married a heretic.

Employed by the church, he is  duty-bound to turn her over for confession. His heart says to protect her from the church he serves. Rushing away from London, he hopes to convince her to change her ideas on sex in marriage before her beliefs are found out.

But this all becomes unimportant when they both begin to develop mental abilities condemned by the church. Help comes from an unexpected quarter urging them to escape during the night and travel to Wales.

Can they escape the long arm of the church? And can their marriage survive the upheavals they face?
