Sometimes being persistent can pay off, for myself as well as for the characters of Margery and Rhys!
I had trouble getting into this book but I’m glad I stayed with it since it turned into a very good story. My persistent paid off.
For Margery, her persistence lead to Rhys and the greatest adventure of her life! There were twists and turns, steamy scenes and a very well written HEA ending. I’d recommend this book.

Lots of great action
I enjoyed their exciting adventure looking for treasure and finding it in the bedroom.
I like that things didn’t immediately fall into place for them romantically and that they evolved into their eventual relationship.
Gah! Just when you think you know who the bad guy is!!
