Lady on the Trail

Lady Breeze Sandleton Mainwaring, young, lovely and thoroughly nice, was convinced that, to fight crime, the forces of law and

order needed more women in charge. She was an avid reader of such luminaries as Agatha Christie.

Breeze was in complete agreement with the editor of the local newspaper, The Braebourne Messenger, who regularly castigated the town’s police force for their failure to clean up the crime ridden town of Braebourne.

Upon reading of the latest heinous crime of the theft of several dogs, Breeze immediately came up with the probably suspects.

When she pays a visit to the local police station with her suspicions, she enrages Detective Inspector Gardener, who very quickly shows her the door. However, when his Chief Superintendent, Edna May Bingley, hears about this, she orders him to work with Lady Sandleton Mainwaring, whom she admires greatly.

So begins a very unlikely partnership!
