Fun
A good fun read
Lady Rample Steps Out
Lady Rample has been a merry widow for a year. She can no longer use mourning as excuse to avoid less desirable social invitations. But maybe she should have skipped an invite from her friend Chaz. Now she can’t resist putting her nose into a police investigation. Will she help the inspector assigned to her case or help get herself into trouble?
I liked the premise. The characters amused me. The story wasn’t consistent throughout. Lady Rample’s recollections and opinions of events change from scene to scene and one character is introduced as if the reader already knows her from Lady Rample interviewing her before at their fort interview.
Interesting main characters
Definitely in the Agatha Christie model with an interesting story & nice pacing!
