Publisher Description
She doesn't do love.
He won't touch her without it.
Welcome to the least convenient summer of Bunny Malone's life.
She came to Ashby Lake to relax.
Instead, she nearly drowns on Day One and gets rescued by Caleb—shirtless, steady, and entirely too good for her peace of mind.
Bunny has rules:
No attachments. No expectations. No staying.
Caleb has one:
Nothing physical without something real.
So obviously… this is a disaster.
Because Bunny wants him.
And Caleb? He's not going anywhere.
But when jealousy, bad decisions, and one very public misunderstanding collide, Bunny's carefully controlled world starts to crack—and for the first time, walking away might hurt more than staying.
A witty, addictive small-town romance about control, connection, and the terrifying risk of letting someone truly see you.

This book was an amazing mix of romance and learning that understanding people can help understand yourself better.
Erm….
If you like slow burn ok, but this is not my idea of a good romance book mainly because I wanted more of book that your average teenage girl has read and has some actual juice, this does not… and it’s not even a good romance for a younger kid because it talks about certain things and cusses but there is literally not juice…only build up, then it just ends so lowkey bad don’t rlly recommend
Left wanting more
Sweet book that was an easy read. I felt like I wanted more in the story. I did not expect it to end the way it did.
