A jousting accident leads to teaming up with an unknown detective...
When Amy and Ambrose arrive at a museum for a well-deserved day off, they find themselves pulled into an investigation they never saw coming, a jousting accident.
With plenty of witnesses, a dangerous sport, and no end of information, it seems like the case could be a simple open-and-shut one, even if it's not supposed to be their own.
But as more comes to light, they realise that what appears to be an accident, might not be as simple as they first thought.

interesting mystery
I enjoyed reading this book. This mystery was fresh and interesting and it was fun to watch the events unfold as Amy helped solve another case, this time while she was supposed to be on vacation with Ambrose.

History, curiosity, and murder
What a crazy weekend holiday! Out for a museum visit only to be sidetracked by a murder?? They bump into Stacey and Gabriel, their on an actual work assignment, and they meet with a friend from Amy’s past. They end up tagging along on a murder investigation and help finding the suspect and find a really great farmers style market. A fun weekend, very satisfying investigation, and a wonderful surprise at the end. Great weekend getaway!
Ambrose and Amy Jousting Novella
A novella in the Detective Ambrose and his Consultant Amy murder solving series. The author states where the reading sequence this particular story takes place to prevent confusion. I like how the story was inspired by visiting a museum. The murder by jousting lance is the cause but who has the motive? I like these little story bits into this series of solving murders.
