Newly arrived to San Francisco, Laura Summers meets Tom Edwards as she is visiting Grace Cathedral, the beginning of their mutual enjoyment of the city and one another. He's hiding his affiliation with a group that substitutes fake jewelry for the real things. Should Laura discover this deception, his partners fear they will be exposed.
