Larry the Lonely Lamppost

Larry the Lamppost was different from all the other lampposts on Wacker Street. While all the other lampposts complained about their jobs, Larry believed that being a lamppost was one of the most important jobs in the world. More than anything, Larry hoped that he would be promoted into a traffic control lamppost, but the other lampposts who had been on Wacker Street much longer than Larry wanted to be traffic control lampposts too, and they were very mean toward him.

Poor Larry was all alone until he met his special friend named Ruby. Then one horrible night, something happened that threatened to tear Larry and Ruby’s friendship apart. Will Larry once again be all alone on Wacker Street? Read on and find out.
