The Last Lies - C C Jameson
Really really enjoyed this book by C C Jameson. Great story and great sub plot. Well developed characters and well developed story. Quite a lot to tackle by any Author but C C Jameson tackles it with ease and delivers!! Skillful writing, and smooth reading.I look forward to reading more of C C Jameson because of this great read. Kudos to C C Jameson with The Last Lies for taking on a job of huge proportions and shedding light through the use of a great story to do so, on female abuse in the work place, but the female abuse revelations did not preclude C C Jameson from writing a great story to deliver! Suspenseful story and exciting. I highly recommend this book! ENJOY.
I enjoyed this book. The fact that Kate‘s life is fleshed out in her job, her marriage, her family and her past makes it so engaging. Her experiences at work and home with bullying brings to the forefront how abuse can be experienced by many of us. This being part of the authors purpose according to the notes. I do hope if any reader is experiencing similar abuse that they will reach out and get help.
The story is engaging and interesting. The mystery of the animal deaths will wrench the heart of animal lovers and give much satisfaction when the culprit is caught.
I will read more in the series.
