Last Minute Pardon

Samuel leads a contented life. Everything seems to be in his favour. He has a successful carpentry business in Jerusalem. His wife has recently given him a son whom he hopes one day will take over his business.
In one swift moment his tranquil life is turned around. He loses everything that has meaning to him when his family is murdered by a Roman soldier. Samuel's heart is filled with hatred as he seeks revenge.
Publius is a Roman Centurion. When he finds his best friend dead in Samuel's house he begins a quest to find Samuel and avenge his dead friend. He pours himself into this task as he believes his friend cannot rest until he kills Samuel.
Last Minute Pardon is a story of hatred and revenge as the lives of these two men are explicitly linked. However, it is also a story of mercy. As Samuel is dying he will meet a man who will bring him pardon.
