What’s the best way to get back at your cheating ex?
Give every guy who hits on you his number.
That’s what I did when I met Silas.
Little did I know, we’d see each other again.
One run-in leads to another.
One fake date leads to a friendship.
That friendship leads to feelings.
But everyone knows feelings and friendship doesn't mix.
We’re too much the same.
It’d never work out.
That changes when one of us asks for more.
Everything falls apart.
There’s no going back.
Can our friendship survive … or will love destroy us?
It’s a great story of emotional turmoil and battles that we go thru as humans. I love Charity’s books. They’re always entertaining with a lot of swoon worthy men. Ms. Ferrel is another favorite author of mine and I’d recommend her books to anyone who lives and loves romance. She always delivers, never disappoints and her stories tend to keep you up trying to get to the ending.
Took my heart out with a one-two punch
Silas, a bartender, has spent most of his night working and listening to Lola, a sales rep for a liquor distributor, tell her friends about some of the things she has done to get revenge on her exes. As the story progresses he falls flat when he make a pass, they decide a friendship will last, and the only way forward for them may be to overcome the past. Charity Ferrell took my heart out with a one-two punch in Last Round. This close group of friends have been through the wringer from the very beginning and only come full circle in this book.
Great way to end a series
Love how each book can be a stand alone but when you read in order you get Easter eggs along the way. This one in particular has suspense, which I enjoyed. Can’t wait to read the new books that’s coming from this author.
