Publisher Description

A bureaucrat and an interstellar trader must overcome treachery and their broken past to save the last inhabitants of a dying planet.

Frontier planet Polaris-Gamma is dying, afflicted by a suspiciously-timed blight that destroys all crops. Worse, the whole system is now under military quarantine by the Central Galactic Concordance to prevent the catastrophic blight from spreading. The settlers must escape—or perish.

Caught behind the blockade, independent trader Gavril Danilovich finds his interstellar trading ship commandeered in the desperate plan to escape. He tells himself that's the only reason he stays, and not because he's worried about the woman he walked out on two years ago—who still lives on Pol-G.

Government supply depot manager Anitra Helden races to gather the last of Pol-G's assets. Her plan to launch a mothballed freighter off Pol-G may be crazy—but it can work, if she can talk Gavril into helping. Their precious cargo? Four thousand stranded colonists.

Can Anitra and Gavril, and their ragtag crew get past the deadly military blockade?

It's a desperate bid for freedom in deadly deep space—get your copy of Last Ship Off Polaris-G today!

Series note: The events in Last Ship Off Polaris-G take place several years before Overload Flux (Central Galactic Concordance, Book 1). Think of it as an introduction to the series, and a foreshadowing of things—and people—to come.

Wonderful Space Adventure

I’ve really enjoyed the Central Galactic Concordance series, and this prequel story was no exception. With two very likable main characters working to get a large freighter ready to escape a military blockade put in place by lying greedy bureaucrats, and then last minute changes that make their mission even more vital as well as more dangerous, this was a wonderful space adventure. Gavril and Anitra had a past that didn’t quite work out and now they get a second chance to get it right. Since circumstances have changed for both of them, this second chance just might work out this time. I liked their quirky, talented crew as well, and the rich, well imagined world that is the setting for the story is outstanding. I look forward to many more stories in this series, I know they’ll be just as stellar.

An enjoyable and unique read.

What an enjoyable and unique sci-fi romance thriller! I really loved this one. There was plenty of action and such depth and detail to the characters and the world around them. The romance really bloomed over time and the characters had hardships they had to overcome to find that peace within them. Last Ship off Polaris-G is a prequel set before the events of the Central Galactic Concordance series, but is perfectly capable of being read as a stand-alone. I would recommend this book to any adult who enjoys sci-fi space operas and doesn’t mind a good romance.

The planet Polaris-Gamma is dying from a vicious virus that destroyed all the crops. The military has stepped in to isolate the citizens of the planet to keep the virus from spreading. Government supple depot manager, Anitra, and independent ship trader, Gravil, come together to fix a broken down freighter to escape the planet. With trouble at every turn, they find themselves without the cargo they were to escape with and instead with four thousand stranded citizens in need of saving. Will this last ship off Pol-G make it past the military blockade or will they die trying?

I look forward to more books in this series!

I received an ARC at no cost from the author and voluntarily reviewed it. All my opinions and thoughts are in no way influenced by this.
