Layton Primary School

Layton Primary School is situated on the eastern edge of Blackpool. We are three-form entry from Reception to Year 6 with 600 pupils. Our percentage of free school meals and pupil premium are both significantly above National Averages and our school is in the highest band for deprivation in England.

High achievement and high ambition for our pupils are non-negotiable in our school; we enable all our children to succeed and take the necessary steps to ensure they do. Every child has an iPad for learning and staff are empowered to take control of their own Professional Development - as a result, Apple technology has had a significant impact on results for all learners.
