À regarder les photographies de Mike Lee on ne peut deviner qui habite qui. Est ce la ville qui abrite et protège l’homme, est-ce elle qui l’aide à se développer, ou est-ce lui qui la nourrit ? L’objectif de Mike Lee croise des solitudes dans une fourmilière qui semble avoir oublier son nombre.

When looking at Mike Lee’s pictures, one cannot guess who inhabits whom. Is the city protecting men and giving him shelter, is it helping him grow or on the contrary is he he who feeds the city ? Mike Lee’s camera meets loneliness inside an anthill that seems to have forgotten how really numerous it is.
